Nevermore by Kelly Creagh scared me. It had a theme to Edgar Allen Poe which was a bit freaky.

Any of the Stephen King books. The movies freaked me out and when I first started reading some of his books I was so scared but omg they were amazing. Still creepy but in a good way :)

ReplyDeleteCan't say I've ever fallen in love with any book that scared me. I remember reading R.L. Stine's adult's book *Superstitious* when I was 14 or 15, and being so scared that I'd jump everytime I heard a noise.
ReplyDeleteI once read a book for school called And Then There Were None. It was kinda scary because all of the people kept dieing, but finding out who murdered them was cool. Because that was what you were trying to figure out the whole book.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was little, the R.L. Stine children's chapter books scared me senseless LOL Now I wonder how I ever found them scary :]
ReplyDeleteI agree about The Historian. I absolutely loved that book but was so freaked when reading it. Dean Koontz's books scare me for some reason. But I also got creeped when reading Jennifer McMahon's books. One inparticular is Don't Breathe a Word.

ReplyDeleteI read Stephen King's "Misery" because I was working backstage on the stage play based on it. I was scared even though I already knew the story! Also Poe- especially "The Masque of the Red Death" and "The Black Cat"
